JILL'S ARTIST STATEMENT

Art is MY passion!

My paintings are primitive images that transform into sculpture on canvas, exploding with color and detail in acrylic, AND REFLECTED BY CULTURAL INFLUENCES FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD.

THESE INFLUENCES naturally led ME TO PAINT on A WIDE VARIETY OF three-dimensional surfaces, such as vases, shoes, barrels, and guitars. 

I CONSTANTLY STRIVE TO EXPAND MY ARTISTIC IMPULSES BY FINDING NEW THREE-DIMENSIONAL SURFACES TO PAINT, AS WELL AS CONTINUE MY TWO-DIMENSIONAL SCULPTURAL WORK ON CANVAS.
